natura-pura is a dust-reduced, highly absorbent and high-quality straw based stall bedding.

Raw material at its best – PURE NATURE:

natura-pura is to a 100% made from golden straw, dried by the sun. We only use straw from controlled integrated cultivation. Thus we can guarantee a stall bedding without chemical additives (e.g. pesticides) in its natural state. During the production process we naturally renounce on adding glue or preservatives. This straw is and it remains pure straw!

Dust-reduced and highly absorbent:

natura-pura is fabricated according to a special procedure. During this mechanical procedure the surface structure of the straw is modified in such a manner, that it becomes highly absorbent.1 kilo stall bedding absorbs approx. 6 litre liquidity. Besides liquidity and dung it absorbs in particular ammonia, which prevents the release of bad odours that could damage the respiratory passages. During the manufacturing process the straw is crushed, sieved and dedusted by a dust collector – in 5 levels, before it is pressed in bars and at last dissolved again. While it is pressed, the straw is degermed thermically, afterwards cooled down again, crushed and packed. In this process dust is exhausted again. The complex process of dedusting is vital to remove dust from the fields and spores from the fields. This contributes essentially to the health of the animals. Thus natura-pura lay the best foundations for an agreeable room climate and makes sure that the animals are feeling well. Potential allergies and respiratory diseases of the animals (and even of the human being) are reduced to a minimum and a healthy livestock is assured.

Quality control:

Immediately after the harvest the degree of moisture within the bags is measured, so that only clean and proper raw material is processed. By means of this complex treatment of the straw, as aforementioned, germs, yeast and fungi that are found in natural straw, are strongly reduced. Regular microbiological quality controls guarantee the purity of this bedding.

Save time and money:

You will need up to 60% less material compared to long straw. When using natura-pura the first time it is enough to use 2 -3 bags for 10m². As the structure of the bedding is quite short, the box is mucked out very well and quickly. A clearer separation of dung/excrements is possible, which reduces the quantity of dung considerably. Just remove day by day wet places and dung and you will have a perfect and hygienic stable. You save time when cleaning the stable and you can guarantee a high quality and a constant standard. Thanks to the easy handling of this bedding we are reported a saving of labour of up to 60%. According to our experience a new bag is necessary only every 5 days. When the stable is cleaned regularly and the animals are on pasture during the day, this amount can be reduced considerably.

Disposal:

We consider straw in its natural state from controlled integrated cultivation as a lasting raw material of the future. The advantage is that it is to a 100% biodegradable and the dung (particularly horse dung) can optimally be recycled with this kind of bedding. By means of the special production process the rotting of the dung is reduced considerably. The result is a fantastic fertiliser or compost. Clever recycler do not only save time, but even money.

Storage – by saving space and storage costs:

The bags at 20kg/each are measured to save space (approx. 20x40x80 cm) and shrinkwrapped with a high quality and stable plastic film. There are 33 bags (approx. 660kg) on one pallet (height: approx. 250 cm, width: approx. 80 cm, length: approx. 120 cm). These pallets are wrapped again in plastic film and their borders are fortified with carton. This package allows an easy transport, a practical handling as well as an open-air storage. One pallet lasts for round about 5 months for one horse box.
